Materials
To help hold down the cost of a huge material inventory I have decided to focus on three groups of materials I use to craft my pens and they are:

Burls
A burl is cancerous growth or a deformity where a tree couldn't decide which direction it wanted to grow so just started a knarled up mess. Well, these burls produce the most striking grain patterns, "eyes" and knarly configurations of any wood species. Among my favorite natural burls are Amboyna, Honduran Rosewood, Red and Brown Mallee and some Buckeye burls. The Box Elder burl in it's natural state is not that appealing but when injected under pressure with richly colored dyes, produces some stunning beauties. |

TruestoneThe truestone I use is made from actual mineral ore which has been pulverized then mixed with a resin binder than formed under great pressure to create "rock like" material. I carry many types of this material and think it makes some of the most breath taking pens anywhere. |

AcrylicsI use the term "acrylic" rather loosley as there are polyester blanks, Aluminite, Acrylester, Itilian plastic and several other materials but all are generally catagorized as acrylics. The acrylic pens are generally the lightest pens I make so if you want a feather like writing instrument, try an acrylic! |
I will of course still consider custom requests using materials other than those mentioned above.
I accept all major credit cards and Paypal
